Augusta Weekend continues to prove that lifestyle clothing can be cutting edge with the use of its new fabrics, designs and styling. This range has clearly defined its new path of luxury items for outside living.
New colours and fabrics are in abundance this season and form a key message of the new collection. New styles include iridescent puffa style jackets with fleece sleeves, back and collars, in a variety of sumptuous bright colours such as turquoise and citrine - creating an easy to wear layered look. Another debut this season is the cire effect metallic jacket and gilet with an oversized ruched collar, showing how a modern cloth in classic styles will appeal to a wider and younger customer audience.
Other jackets include opera styles with oversized collars and contrast black buttons for a fashion forward look. Continuing with its theme of soft relaxed shapes, grey marl coats in cotton jersey with cotton interlock and drawstring waists encapsulate the easy breezy feel to the collection and are ideal for outdoor pursuits. Another revolutionary debut for the brand is the introduction of animal print, such as marled snakeskin in relaxed style jackets and gilets and casual tops, perfect for layering and adding some glamour to neutral gilets and jackets.
While the brand continues to showcase its bestsellers of black, red and stone gilets and jackets, many other styles are available this season with extra detailing such as fishtail hemlines, studding, quilting and gun metal for extra style awareness. Knitwear continues to be more directional with argyle featured in waterfall wool cardigans. Animal print re-emerges in orchid, black and stone in a cotton and angora mix. Boiled wool styles in directional cardigans as well as cropped sleeve jackets with patch pocket embellishments, contrast red stitching and velvet ribbon give a truly unique and modern look.
A favourite of the new collection is the introduction of 1950s style aviator leather-look and fur-lined blazers and their stunning new faux sheepskin fur-lined jackets and gilets in grey or burgundy. These pieces are guaranteed to set the tone of the new season and herald the brand as the one to watch in leisure wear.
