Size Guide
Women - General
The fit of your clothes depends on the cut, fabric and styling of the garment. Garments may vary in size dependent on the amount of ease allowed over the body which will vary according to fabric and styling.
Follow our Tips for Measuring below and then use the Size Guides to choose your size, considering details of specific garments as seen in some product pages, for example slim fit or side elastication.
Tips for Measuring
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes.
(a) Bust: measure around the fullest part of your bust and across your shoulder blades.
(b) Waist: measure around the natural waist, keeping the tape measure taut.
(c) Hips: stand with your feet together. Put the tape around the fullest part of your bottom at the top of your leg, about 20cm (8'') below your natural waistline.
(d) Inside Leg: measure from the top of the inside leg at the crotch to where the trousers are normally worn on the shoes.
Jacket Length: measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. Then length measurement will vary depending on the style of garment.
Skirt Length: measure from the natural waistline to the desired hem position on the leg.
Dress Length: dress lengths are measured from the waist as you would for a skirt length.
