Shipping

We deliver to addresses in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Delivery of product to other countries is subject to confirmation by Customer Services. Please do not place an order for international delivery through the online shop - simply email the details from the product page into a blank email, including size and full delivery address to onlinesupport@michaelh.ie so that we can calculate delivery charges for you. 

Any duties, quotas, taxes or other local restrictions for goods delivered outside Ireland and the United Kingdom are the responsibility of the recipient, and are not included in the prices displayed on the Site.  Please check local thresholds and duties in advance of contacting us regarding an international order, so that you are aware of possible additional charges which may be incurred on your order.  Michael H cannot offer any assistance with this information or with the customs entry of your order.

We will endeavour to deliver orders as expeditiously as possible. Delivery charges vary according to the destination country. Products cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

We will endeavour to deliver accepted orders to addresses within Ireland and the United Kingdom generally within 5-7 working days. These deliveries are made Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm (except Bank Holidays). We cannot specify a time for the delivery. These delivery guidelines are subject to the carrier's own terms and conditions of service.

Deliveries to more remote areas within these countries may carry an additional delivery charge.

Delivery to addresses in countries other than Ireland and the United Kingdom may take longer than 7 working days and cannot be exactly specified at the time of placing your order.

Where delivery is made by TNT Courier Service:
• A signature confirming receipt is required for delivery. If there is no-one available at the delivery address to accept the order, TNT will leave a card asking you to arrange collection from your nearest depot, or to arrange a re-delivery.
• To track your TNT delivery you can visit www.tnt.com/express/en_ie/site/home.html and enter the delivery reference emailed to you or detailed in your online account.
• Courier delivery to countries outside Ireland and the United Kingdom may take longer than 7 working days. Further information on expected delivery date is available by emailing onlinesupport@michaelh.ie.

The products ordered will be at your risk from the time of delivery, and ownership of them will not pass to you until we receive full payment of all sums, including delivery charges, due in respect of them.

We will not be liable to you for failures, defects or delays in delivery caused by:
• Your provision of incorrect information;
• Your computer failing to meet the minimum technical requirements for the Services;
• Your failure to comply with instructions for use of the Services; or
• An event which is outside our reasonable control.

 

Delivery Delays

Occasionally technical problems may delay or prevent delivery of a purchased product. Please contact Customer Services at onlinesupport@michaelh.ie in such an event who will investigate the status of your delivery with the shipping company/postal service.

If the order has been lost in transit your sole remedy will be a refund, as determined by us. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Orders delivered to addresses outside of the Ireland may be affected by Customs and Excise delays which are beyond our control.

During the peak Sale period there may be some delay in our delivery service whilst we deal with high volumes of orders and warehouse closure over the bank holidays. Wherever possible we will deliver within the specified number of working days, however if you experience a delay in receiving your order please contact Customer Services at onlinesupport@michaelh.ie and we will investigate the status of your order.

Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in delivery, so before placing your order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode of the intended recipient and your daytime contact telephone number or e-mail address so that we can notify you in the event that any delivery problems are encountered.

 

Exclusions from International Deliveries

Gift Vouchers are currently excluded from international delivery. 

We do not exclude any garments shown in our online shop from international delivery.  However, please note there are countries which have import restrictions on certain materials.  Customers are responsible for checking with the local customs authorities before placing an order for international delivery.  Michael H cannot offer any assistance in this process.

 

Returns

This Returns Policy is specific to online purchases.

In the event you wish to return a Product, please use the returns paperwork included with your order. We will refund a product within 14 days of your receipt of the goods.

Customers located outside Ireland or the United Kingdom, intending to return an item, are, in addition, strongly advised to email us at onlinereturns@michaelh.ie as soon as possible.

You may not seek a refund:
1. Where the purchased product has been worn and is unsaleable or has been subject to wear and tear;
2. Where the purchased product has been altered, amended or tailored to your specific requirements;
3. Where the purchased product is marked by make-up, lotions, creams or otherwise;
4. Where the purchased product has an odour from perfume, scents or otherwise;
5. Where the purchased product has been deliberately damaged or damaged by way of spillages;
6. Where the purchased product has been discoloured through failing to follow appropriate cleaning instructions;

Products should be returned, undamaged in the original packaging and by a shipment method that is secure and can be tracked. If you do not have the original packaging, please contact Customer Services at onlinesupport@michaelh.ie and we will advise you on similar packaging to use before returning any items to us.

We will examine the condition of the returned Product and decide whether to process the refund.

Delivery charges, duties, taxes and similar charges are not refundable and a returned goods charge may apply. We will only refund the delivery charge for sending the product to you if the product is faulty or does not match your order.

Our Returns Policy does not apply to sale items. Orders made via this Site cannot be refunded or exchanged at any Michael H Store, Shop-in-Shop or Concession.

Our Returns Policy is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.

Returns Process
• If you want to return any products pursuant to our Returns Policy, please use the Returns paperwork included with your order, stating the reason for your return.
• If you do not have your Returns paperwork, please click on the link at the end of this section or simply write down the order number and catalogue number(s) on a piece of paper along with your reason for returning and your name, address and personal account number and enclose it with the goods.
• You will be required to pay for the return of the goods, and should choose a method of return that is secure and can be tracked. Please note that unfortunately we are unable to refund the cost of any upgrade to your delivery service.
• If using the postal service, please take your parcel to the Post Office and ask for proof of dispatch. It is imperative you obtain a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office which should be kept in a safe place as this will be required if any returned parcel should go astray.
• The products ordered by you will be at your risk from the time of dispatch until they are proven to have been received by Customer Services.
• Once the returned goods have been received by Customer Services we will review their condition before deciding in accordance with our Returns Policy whether to process the refund.
• When processing a refund for returned goods, we will refund by the original method of payment only.
• If we decide not to process any refund you will be contacted by Customer Services.

 

Returning Faulty Goods 
- In the event you are returning faulty goods, please contact Customer Services at onlinereturns@michaelh.ie within 14 days of receipt of the goods, clearly marking the email with FAULTY GOODS RETURN, stating your order number, product code, name, address, contact telephone number and the nature of the fault.
- Faulty goods must be returned in their original packaging and by a secure and tracked method and sent to Online Returns, Michael H Ltd., Kylemore Industrial Park, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10, Ireland.
- If the faulty item constituted the entire order or if all items delivered were faulty or damaged, the original delivery charge will be repaid.
- If the faulty item constituted only part of the order delivered, we will refund half the original delivery charge paid.  We will also refund the recipient the cost of returning the item to us, up to a maximum of €10.00 or £15.00 according to the delivery address of the order, subject to a receipt for these delivery charges being first posted to us.

Faulty items cannot be return to any Michael H Store, Shop-in-Shop or Concession.  Faulty items must be returned to the address shown on the Returns Note included with your order.

Cancellations Policy

No other person may place or cancel orders with us on your behalf.

You are entitled to cancel your order within 7 working days beginning on the day after you received the products ordered. In this case, you will receive a refund of the purchase price paid for the products ordered.

Orders may be cancelled by you without any liability to Michael H except any direct cost incurred by us in relation to the Product being returned.

Please note that your right to cancel and return the products ordered does NOT apply to faulty products.

This Cancellation Policy is offered in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights.

 

Cancellations Process

If you wish to exercise your right to cancel your order after the products you ordered have been dispatched, please contact Customer Services by sending an e-mail to onlinereturns@michaelh.ie clearly marked with REQUEST TO CANCEL ORDER and should include your order number.

Michael H will offer a refund but delivery charges are not refundable and a returned goods charge may apply.

If you require a refund of part or the whole of your order, please return the unsatisfactory Products in their original packaging, as set out in our Returns Process.

We may ask you to provide some proof that the Products were purchased from us, such as a copy of its email confirmation of your order or the delivery note.

Where a refund is agreed, we will refund to the original method of payment only.

 

Refunding Of Delivery Charges

If we have made a mistake on an item sent to you, we will refund the delivery charges you have paid to receive the item and the delivery charges incurred to return the item, subject to first receiving from you the post office or courier company receipt for the charges paid.

 

What Products are Excluded from under this Policy

Gift Vouchers are excluded from this policy and cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded under any circumstances, except those covered by your statutory rights. Once payment is taken, no changes to the order or any cancellation can be made. It is therefore very important that you are fully happy with your gift voucher order before selecting the Confirm Order button on the Checkout page of your Shopping Basket.

Items purchased at Sale Price or purchased during the Online Shop Sales Period are also excluded from this policy.

 

Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights are not affected by our Returns Policy and you will have the benefit of them too.

In assessing your request for goods or services, we may use your information for the purposes of the prevention and detection of fraud. One of the purposes for which we may disclose your address and postcode details is to check against any fraud prevention scheme. At all times, where we disclose your information, it will remain secure. If you believe your details are incorrect, you may correct those details by following the procedure set out in our Privacy Policy.
